Apps
Scott Snibbe has explored the app as an artform since the early days of Apple’s App Store. His Gravilux app rose to become the top iPhone and iPad app, and his collaboration with Björk, Biophilia, was the first app acquired by New York’s MoMA for its permanent collection. His only commercial app, Eyegroove, a social network for music videos, was an inspiration for Musical.ly and TikTok and was acquired by Facebook to integrate its graphics and video effects into Instagram.
